Nickelodeon Big Base Camp is a 10-day pop up event from Saturday 4th April to Monday 13th April 2020, coming to a new London venue, Magazine. It is the first Nickelodeon immersive experience of its kind to take place in the capital, and the perfect Easter day out for both kids and families to enjoy! The experience is laid out into two zones;
Camp Studios Experience
A 90 minute immersive experience where 7-14 years old (recommended age) rule and where their favourite Nickelodeon shows come to life. Whether it’s racing against the clock to solve the Hunter Street Escape Room mystery, becoming a superhero with The Thundermans, earning the ultimate Nickelodeon badge of honour – a SLIME TIME sliming or even stepping behind the scenes at the Nick Studio where kids get to star in their very own Nickelodeon video! Lights, Camera, Action!
Base Camp & Bikini Bottom Beach
Whilst kids 7-14 years old enter the immersive experience, families and children younger than 7 years old can enjoy time at Bikini Bottom Beach & Base Camp. Here, families can take part in a variety of activities including Paw Patrol Soft Play and Bikini Bottom Beach ball pit, and kick back at the beach with non-stop entertainment on the main stage whilst enjoying food and drink available to purchase from the Krusty Krab.

Quiet Slots:
Quiet slots will take place at 8.30am Wednesday 8th April and 8.30am Sunday 12th April:
A quieter experience, designed for anyone who would prefer to avoid loud noises, bright lights and busy spaces.
We’ll tone down the lights, lower the sound levels and reduce the overall capacity to allow for a calmer experience.
Plus, adults are welcome to accompany their children throughout the Base Camp Experience for additional comfort.

There are four core types of ticket admissions to Nickelodeon Big Base Camp. Experience Ticket (7-14 years recommended), Junior Ticket (3-6 years) and Adult Ticket (18+). Infants (0-3 years) require a ticket, but admission is FREE.
An Experience Ticket must be included in every booking.

Experience Ticket (Kids 7-14 years only – recommended age):
Nickelodeon Big Base Camp is made for you! Discover the full experience as you gain access to Camp Studios Experience, Bikini Bottom Beach and Base Camp. The key difference with this ticket is the fact that you are the only ones who gain access to the Camp Studios Experience (a parent-free zone!) where you’ll be racing against the clock to solve the Hunter Street Escape Room mystery, become a superhero with The Thundermans, earning the ultimate badge of honour – a sliming in the SLIME TIME experience or even stepping behind the scenes at the Nick Studio to film their very own superhero stunt – there’s something to suit every Nickelodeon fan’s dream.
*Please note 7-14 years old is the recommended age for the experience, if you feel you have a child older or younger who may still enjoy the experience, please email hello@kaboodle.co.uk.
Junior Ticket (Kids 3-6 years):
Nickelodoen Big Base Camp is a full family experience where young explorers can enjoy the Bikini Bottom Beach and Base Camp. They will be able to take on a variety of Nickelodeon themed activities, play on a real beach and even get the chance to meet their favourite characters!
Adult Ticket (18+) & Kids (+15):
The event is not just for the kids, Adults will get access to the Bikini Bottom Beach and Base Camp to enjoy with their younger kids. If attending without younger kids you can visit the bar or pick up some street food whilst you wait for kids 7-14 to exit the Camp Studios Experience.
Infant Ticket (0-3 years):
Nickelodoen Big Base Camp is a full family experience so we’re opening the gates for FREE to our youngest explorers to enjoy the Bikini Bottom Beach and Base Camp including the Paw Patrol Soft Play and Top Wing Helter Skelter. Be sure to book them a ticket though, they won’t get in without one! Infants need to be carried by parents/guardian.

No Adult or Junior tickets can be purchased without the sale of at least one Experience ticket
At least one Adult ticket must be purchased in each transaction
A maximum of 3 children can be accompanied by one Adult at any time
Each experience ticket allows for the purchase of a junior ticket.

No, every day offers the same unique Nickelodeon experience.
Every child must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany up to 3 children.
Kaboodle, the ticket agent charges a booking fee of 10% for each ticket purchased (aside from tickets under 3). The fee is applied to both online and telephone bookings.

Yes, limited merchandise will be available to pre-order with your ticket at www.nickelodeonbigbasecamp.com ahead of the show, and available on site throughout the day itself.
No, the Camp Studios Experience is a guardian and parent free zone! Don’t worry, Nickelodeon has an experienced team on the ground to ensure the safety of children in all areas at all times.
Children will be allowed to go to the toilet only if escorted by a Nickelodeon chaperone. Chaperones will be visible within each zone.
The Camp Studios Experience will be the centre of all the action however, we understand that some children may become tired or overwhelmed and wish to leave. Nickelodeon chaperone’s will be available to return children to their parents, by calling the number on their wristband and meeting them in the designated area outside the Camp Studios Experience.
No, there will not be a break per Camp Studios Experience session.
Camp Studios Ticket: High chance of being covered in SLIME. Within the last zone of the Camp Studios Experience, children enter SLIME TIME! A zone where they will be slimed unless they choose to stand in the SLIME-free zone at the back of the room
Junior Ticket: A SLIME-free zone.
*Please do be aware that all attendees may experience incidental brushes with SLIME as kids exit the Camp Studios.
Children’s safety and wellbeing is of paramount importance to Nickelodeon. We require that all slime provided at our events is safe and compliant with applicable health and safety regulations and requirements. There is a small risk of minor skin irritation after contact with the slime. Discolouration and/or staining of hair, skin, clothes, accessories and shoes is also possible. Slime should not be eaten.
For anyone planning on experiencing the SLIME, if you are thinking about wearing your best white shirt or fave clothes, then think again! If you wish to experience the SLIME it will get pretty messy, so it’s a good idea to bring a change of clothes and a spare towel for the trip home. However please note that there will not be changing rooms on site, and therefore any change of clothes must occur outside of the venue.
After your child’s Camp Studio Experience session has finished (1 hour and 30 minutes in duration) children will exit into the designated area to be reunited with their parent. This is a signposted area at the exit to the experience.
At least 2 weeks ahead of the show, you will receive your e-ticket via the email address you booked with.
You need to print and bring your e-tickets to the venue to gain entry and exchange them at the door for wristbands. Failure to show e-ticket may result in denied access to the venue. E-tickets can be scanned via mobile devices also.
Yes. There are cloakroom facilities available at the entrance of the main venue.

Last entry will be 15 minutes after your official start time of your booked session. Unfortunately, after this time tickets will be non-refundable. We will always do our best to accommodate late-comers subject to capacity.
You can’t bring any food or drink purchased outside the venue in with you. There is food and drink available to purchase inside the venue.

– By Road: Driving is easy, plan your journey using Journey Route Planner here. Unfortunately Magazine Venue has no parking, but you can park the nearby O2 Arena, pre booking can be made here.
– By Rail: You cannot access the venue directly from a rail station. The venue is 8 minutes from London Bridge and 11 minutes from Waterloo by tube. Please check www.tfl.gov.uk for more details.
– By Tube: Take the Jubilee line to North Greenwich station, which is a 3-minute walk away from the venue
– By River Boat: Take one of the following services; Bus RB1, River Bus RB1X and River Bus RB5. Alight at North Greenwich Pier, which is a 9-minute walk away from the venue
No, Magazine has no space for parking but you can park at the nearby O2 arena.
Nickelodeon’s cameras will be on the ground at the event filming official content for our TV channel, website and social media. Feel free to join in on the action with by taking your own photos and videos and uploading to social media.
Nickelodoen Big Base Camp is a child and family-focused event. We do everything we can to ensure an amazing experience for all of our guests, with safety being our number one priority. Our dedicated team are positioned at every one of the venues access points to ensure all children are 100% supervised no matter where they are. We recommend towels and a change of clothes for the trip home, along with some plastic bags to take SLIME-drenched items home in.
